At Boujie & Co Rabbitry, deposits are used to secure a specific rabbit and reflect a serious commitment to bringing one of our babies home. This policy protects our time, our program, and—most importantly—our rabbits.
Please read carefully before placing a deposit.
✨ Why We Require Deposits
Our rabbits are:

Carefully bred for health, temperament, and structure

Hand-raised with daily handling

Reserved on a first-come, committed basis
Once a rabbit is marked reserved, we turn away other interested homes. A deposit ensures fairness and prevents last-minute changes that impact our animals.
💳 How to Place a Deposit
Deposits are accepted only after approval and confirmation of availability.
Deposits may be made via:

Approved electronic payment methods, Venmo, cash app,
Apple Pay.
🚫 We do not accept deposits without prior communication. Please refrain from paying online without reaching out. Payments won't be refunded.
💰 Deposit Amounts
Deposit amounts vary by rabbit and are clearly listed in each availability post.
Typical deposits range from:

$75–$100 for pet homes
Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price.
🚨 Are Deposits Refundable?
No. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Deposits cover:

Time
-
Lost opportunities with other homes
-
Ongoing care and holding costs
This applies regardless of reason, including:

Change of mind

Family or financial circumstances
-
Allergies or housing issues
-
Failure to pick up on time
Please only place a deposit if you are fully ready to move forward.
🔄 What If I Change My Mind?
If you are unable to proceed:

Your deposit may be transferred ONE TIME to another available rabbit

Or applied to a future litter, at breeder discretion
Transfers:

Must be used within 90 days

Are not guaranteed
-
Are not available once a rabbit is ready for pickup
Deposits are never refunded.
📅 When Is the Remaining Balance Due?

Remaining balance is due before or at pickup, before I meet transport.

No rabbit leaves without full payment

Rabbits are not held past agreed pickup dates without prior approval
🚫 Pickup Deadlines & Forfeit Policy
If a rabbit is not picked up by the agreed date without communication:

The reservation is forfeited

Deposit is lost
-
Rabbit will be relisted
Extended holding may incur daily boarding fees if approved.
