Frequently asked questions
We specialize in four unique lines: Mini Plush Lops (the soft, floppy-eared sweethearts), Vienna-marked Netherland Dwarfs (tiny charmers with blue eyes and striking markings), and our very own Plush Dwarf project (combining velvet-like coats with true dwarf type). Each one is carefully bred for beauty, health, and personality. As of fall 2025, we did add a pair of lionheads that we are hoping will welcome a litter early 2026.
Size depends on the breed! Our Mini Plush Lops typically mature around 3.5–4.5 lbs, while Netherland Dwarfs and Plush Dwarfs stay much smaller — most are in the 2–2.5 lb range when grown. Perfect little lap bunnies! 🐇✨
Mini Plush Lop: Floppy ears, plush velvet coat, and a friendly, easygoing temperament.
Plush Dwarf: A special project we’re working on — true Netherland Dwarf size and type, but with the same plush coat you see in Mini Plush Lops.
Netherland Dwarf (VM): The tiniest of them all, with upright ears, compact bodies, and Vienna markings that sometimes bring those dreamy blue eyes.
Yes! Our bunnies are hand-raised from day one in our indoor rabbitry, with our two kids involved in daily care. This means they grow up accustomed to little hands, farm life, and gentle handling. They’re used to being around dogs, held around horses — making them adaptable and confident in new environments, and used to being held.
Every bunny gets plenty of daily handling, cuddles, and playtime. They’re introduced to different sights, sounds, and people so they become well-rounded little companions. By the time they’re ready for their new homes, they’re not only cute — they’re confident, curious, and people-friendly.
Not specifically as we rotate between our cages and x-pens. While our bunnies are kept in clean environments and learn early on to pick a corner for bathroom habits, full litter box training will be your responsibility once your bunny goes home. Every home smells different, and bunnies need time to adjust and learn where their new litter area is.
Yes! All of our bunnies leave healthy, and thriving. While rabbits are delicate creatures, we provide a 1 year health guarantee once your bunny goes home — giving you time to confirm your new little friend is adjusting well. We also stand behind our breeding program, raising from healthy, carefully selected lines. Health guarantee being a health ailment, not a heart attack due to stress, loud noises, or lack of care.
We send every bunny home with a transition bag of food to make the move stress-free. Our bunnies are raised on a high-quality pellet, fresh orchard hay, and occasional healthy treats. We recommend slowly introducing any new foods, as young bunnies have sensitive tummies.
with proper care, indoor rabbits can live 8–12 years (sometimes even longer!). That’s why we raise ours with family life in mind — they’re companions for the long haul, not just a “short-term pet."
In the U.S., vaccines for rabbits are considered elective rather than routine, but we do encourage families to discuss them with a rabbit-savvy vet. One option we suggest is the RHDV2 vaccine, which helps protect against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus, and bunnyvac. Beyond that, the best care is simple: a balanced diet, safe housing, regular nail trims, and annual wellness checks.
Pricing depends on the breed and type. Our pet bunnies typically start around $200–$500, while specialty lines like Vienna-marked Netherland Dwarfs and Plush Dwarfs may be higher. Pricing reflects not just the bunny itself, but the care, handling, and health that goes into raising them.
To reserve, we require a non-refundable deposit which goes toward the final price. This ensures your bunny is held just for you. Once your deposit is in, we’ll update you with pictures, videos, and milestones until your bunny is ready to go home.
Yes — deposits are required to hold a bunny. They are non-refundable, as they secure your spot and take the bunny off the market. If something changes on our end, your deposit can be transferred to a future litter.
Yes! Many of our bunnies are reserved before they’re even ready. Joining the waiting list means you’ll have first pick before the public when litters arrive, and you can plan ahead for the color, type, or line you’re dreaming of, we move down the list as families choose bunnies.
Bunnies leave us at 8 weeks old minimum. This ensures they’re weaned, eating well on their own, and fully socialized. We never let bunnies go earlier than this — their early development is too important for their long-term health and happiness.
For the safety of our animals and family, we do not allow drop-in visits. Once a bunny is reserved, we can arrange a scheduled pick-up at our farm. We’re always happy to provide photos, videos, and updates so you can watch your bunny grow before going home, but visits before hand are not allowed. Thank you for trusting us.
Yes! We offer ground transport and occasionally flight nanny services through trusted transporters who specialize in small animals. This ensures your bunny travels safely and comfortably to your home. Transport fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please bring a secure travel carrier with bedding (like hay or a small towel). This keeps your bunny safe on the ride home. We’ll send your bunny with a transition bag of food to make settling in easier.
Before any bunny leaves, we make sure they’re well-adjusted, healthy, and accustomed to handling. For longer trips, we pack food and hay to keep them comfortable. Our goal is to reduce stress and make the journey as smooth as possible.
